The Cats travel for their 2nd game and 1st SEC game when they take on the Florida Gators. The game is scheduled to be on ESPN at 7:00pm. If they Cats what to be considered a legit threat for the SEC east division crown this is a must win game. I think that they will be up to the challenge. Go Cats!

  • For all this hype surrounding Richardson, he isn’t very good…

I think Florida was under valued preseason, but I still don't think they're as good as their new ranking. Richardson is a good QB, but UK's best position is at LBer and they're good enough to run with

I want Kentucky but after tonight’s games I think Florida is the better team.  Kentucky’s rushing game was terrible today.

Gators 34

Cats 17

I think UK was very vanilla on offense and not very complex in what they ran. I hope and expect that they played it that way so not to show Florida too much on film this week.

Florida on the other hand probably didn't pull many punches trying to beat Utah. Hopefully UK coaches can find some things on film to exploit this week.

UK has to fix the line issues this week, especially against twist and stunts by the D-line. Defensively UK has to keep Florida QB contained in the backfield as much as possible, obviously. If he is breaking containment and ripping off runs consistently, it will be a long night for the Cats.

Kentucky 24-20.

Going to be a long night for Kentucky.

Gators by 10 big uns.

I think Florida was under valued preseason, but I still don't think they're as good as their new ranking. Richardson is a good QB, but UK's best position is at LBer and they're good enough to run with Richardson to slow him down running the football. He's a decent passer, but think the current hype on Florida is a week 2 over reaction.

Levis has to play really well, because of the lack of running game UK will probably have. Can't turn the ball over. But these games have been competitive over the last 5-6 years and I don't think that will change this year.

Give me the UK 24-17 to knock off the Gators in The Swamp.

O line continues their terrible play on the first series.  Unless we get some TO’s we probably have no shot

ANOTHER terrible series for the O line!!  Levis may not make it through the season!!

UK's RT is killing them so far and I don't have any clue about what is targeting anymore.  Things change quick in this game.

Florida is up 3 to 0 but the Cats are driving.

If someone on the O-line would block, that would be great.

I'm not sure anyone on here that can remember a few years back actually vs. Florida Kentucky had a defensive player ejected for targeting and he actually hit the QB when he was running the ball and this hit was overturned unreal!
