Simon Kenton 1 Ryle 0

Recommended Posts

Is it officially time to pull the panic alarm in Union?  Simon Kenton, who lost to NewCath and was beaten decisively by Cooper (although did play S.O. very well in a loss), goes to Union and gets the shut-out victory over the Raiders.

We talked about the back for Ryle being very good, and they have unquestionably the best Keeper in the area (state?) in junior Landon Barth, and that we knew they'd have to find new goal scorers this year, but this is nothing but a huge and massive shock.

The Raiders have scored 4 goals in 4 games....and 3 of those against Bryan Station.

This result, combined with Conner shocking The Birds, means that maybe the 33rd will have a little more drama on the boys side than we thought it would.

I'm sure Coach Collins and his large and talented coaching staff (very large, to be more accurate) will get the boys to respond, and it is certainly still very early, but so far not so good for the powerful Raiders' program.
