As of this morning this job was re-listed on the FCPS.net job opening page, so this one is back open.

Well that was a faster turnabout then Fast Eddie.

Trenton Fields a possible suitor? 

Just posted about it in the thread about Ethan Atchley being hired as the new coach, but my understanding is that this was a clerical mistake made by Lafayette. I'll leave this open until the job listing comes back down off the KHSAA Open Jobs site, but as I was told, Atchley will be the man.

We are hearing that there may be a issue with the new hire and the job is open again.

Dang something ain’t right. Dude gets let go out of the blue at BE. Now this… something is not right? 

Is this the same guy that there were rumors he was looking at the Frankfort High job as well???

Yea I think something is definitely up by now if the job had to be reposted  due to a clerical error it would have only had to be reposted for 2 weeks and it has now be up on FCPS for over 3 weeks now (24 days).

Bullet Central is open as well.  Could he be making the decision to take that job and not have to sell his home and move to Lexington?

As of January 28th, the head coach job was re-listed on the FCPS jobs site. I spoke with a couple of folks closer to the situation than myself and was told, basically, that the reason the job was re-listed was because of a clerical/paperwork issue on the part of LHS. Because things had not been done correctly, the school had to repost the job opening as a formality, but that Atchley will remain as the man in charge once all the the dust settled.

Are you hearing there have been new developments since whatever it was that precipitated the job being re-posted on January 28th?

I completely agree with this! He should’ve got the Tates Creek job, he would be a good fit for Lafayette. 

Is the job open? Or was it an error?
