ESPN is reporting the Bengals are signing Alex Cappa 4 years for 40 million and Ted Karras to a 3 year 18 million dollar deals.

So where do the Bengals stand with cap money after today? Just wondering if they have anything left for a deal with CJ.

As a side note, put this into the category of player moves I don't understand. From Super Bowl to what, fighting for 3rd in your division?

Guessing they feel Sample/Moss or a draft pick or someone else wouldn't be that much of a drop off and they don't have to pay $8 mil a year.

With CJ leaving I feel the Bengals are incredibly weak at TE.  Considering we signed a couple of FA OL, TE has to be our top need now.
