USC 32 Michigan 18

I think it is extremly evident that if UM's gameplan doesn't work, things aren't going to work well, while USC seems to "go with the flow" and adjusts to what needs to be done, smells a lot like the Xaverians.

I want to throw this out as well, while watching this game, I felt that U of L would likely lose handily to USC, but that they could compete with UM. Being that Michigan needs the run to open other things up, that is what Louisville's defense is best at stopping, compound that with UM, giving up a lot of deep balls, and I would like their chances, oh blah dee.

It seems like Michigan plays better at a fast pace and it seems like their style handcuffs their QB some. USC just flat out has 2 outstanding WR's and they showed up in the big game. Like him or not Pete Carrol seems like he would be a blast to play for and he outcoached Carr today IMO.

These two teams should be in the top 4 or so next year preseason if not 1+2. Lots of talent on the field today that is coming back + nice classes coming in again!

I was flipping back and fourth + taking care of the little one's but it seemed like 3rd down defense for Michigan was awful and they couldn't handle the blitz on offense which suprises me because they are usually one of the better screen teams in the country!

So where are all the UM fans that would've been here spouting off after a win?

Michigan flat out didn't deserve to be in the title game and I thank them for proving it to everyone once and for all.

Yes, yes, I'm sure you were looking for me. It is a holiday and all, didn't exactly sit by the computer waiting to post........

USC played a fantastic game from start to finish, have to give them their props there. I won't make excuses for UM, they were just plain awful at times. We shall see how much UM did or did not deserve to be in once the entire bowl season is over. At this point, I think this says more about USC being a better team(that dropped the ball against UCLA) than who did or did not deserve a title shot. Keep in mind that the 3rd best team from the Big 11 beat the team who vaulted UF into the title game today as well.

I could watch Pete Carroll coach all day. How sweet is he?

He looked pretty ordinary against UCLA a few weeks ago. They also looked clueless against OSU (no not that OSU, the other OSU).

5 straight seasons with 11 wins... along with Top 5 recruiting classes every year... I'd say he has a clue.

Your point?

Note the word "they". Losing to OSU??? Scoring 9 points against UCLA??? The guy is a great coach no doubt, but he has his share of flaws. I think its funny how the media is going on and on with the "what ifs ?" this morning. They blew it against OSU and choked against UCLA when the road to the national title was clear.

Hard weekend for you GT. Bearcats lose. Bengals look horrible. Michigan is spanked. Only solace for you is that the UK Wildcats won this weekend both in football and basketball. :D

Despite his abundance of talent, Jarrett is a punk.

Great win for The Men of Troy!! I just wish their Offense had played this well against the Bruins.

They might have been the best team in the Big10, but they didn't play tOSU so we'll never know. ;)

Maybe Cincy will win their bowl game. Why are they playing so late? I thought the idea was to give the big boys the big stage building up to the BCS Championship Game.
