OR22... I've read "If Florida gets drilled" about a million times from you. Why don't we talk about it if it happens...

Did I hear it correctly on ESPN that Wisconsin had negative rushing yards?

Negative 5 yards rushing.

Negative 5 yards rushing.

Hard to believe that a Big Ten team can win a game with -5 yards rushing, but that is the stat!

As opposed to talking about how bad UM/the Big 10 are? You can't slant it one way and not expect to get the other side of the story too..........

And for the record, I'm not sure UF gets drilled in this game, but I see a similiar margin to the USC/UM game(which to me is a sound win).

This has nothing to do with this thread but many people keep talking about it.

For the record Arkansas and Wisconsin are decent football teams at best. To be honest they both looked pretty sorry.

Florida and Ohio State will look NOTHING like those two did.

I'll agree with this statement. The question then becomes how did a win against a decent(read mediocre) Arkansas team put UF in the title game?

Florida on a sloppy day could have beaten those two in the terd bowl that Wisconsin and Arkansas played in.

Arkansas can't throw a ten yard out for the life of them and I thought Wisconsins offense must have thought it to be illegal to get over 170 yards offense in a game so they just decided to punt after their 3 in out almost every series.

That game was the flop of the bowls so far if you ask me.

In fact UF on a sloppy day(as their offense has been for much of the year) did just barely beat Arkansas. If not for a muffed punt TD we might be talking about the UF/Wisconsin game.

My observations from the game were that both teams weren't very good on offense. Wisconsin got really conservative after jumping out to a lead after having a lot of success early torching the SEC "speed" in man to man coverage. Neither team looked great, the one that made the fewest mistakes won.

Barringer is a bigger punk than Jarrett.

Now that's hilarious...........good to see the true colors shining through this bowl season. Any particular reason for that statement or just a general hate for the Maize and Blue? What is that based on? Facts? The late hit? The jawing that was going on? I have news for you, having been there before, jawing is now part of the game. Most guys(especially the skill guys) do it, and if that makes Willis Barringer a bad person then he certainly isn't alone. But I didn't see Mr. Barringer showing up anyone last night after he laid out a USC receiver early in the game. USC playes just like Pete Carroll, no class..........

Radier - sounds as if you are a UM fan as well. How can Michigan fan be pleased with the 07 Rose bowl performance?? UM had a very, very good team. I just can be super happy about the Rose Bowl showing with respect to execution on Offense or Defense. I cant imagine the UM coaching staff being real "happy" today.....

I am not pleased at all. All I was pointing out is that UM has certainly not been in a "sleeper" role with the opponents they've had in the Rose Bowl in recent years. Make no bones about it, dropping the last 2 in any season is unacceptable. But drawing Matt Leinhart, Vince Young, and possibly Booty the year before they win national titles usually doesn't make for an easy game.......

I'm not sure what "good to see the true colors shining through this bowl season" means. Please explain.

Barringer was barking, talking, chest pounding like he was an All-American early on. Jawing is certainly a part of the game but so is a little taunting when the guy jawing is getting beat like a drumstick. Of course I've personally never met Barringer but from my point of view he was a bigger punk on the field. If a guy like that was in my hear and I kept beating him I sure would let him know about it. Maybe he was just trying to get good ole number 8 for the Trojans off his game but it sure didn't work.

So you're saying they can't win whether favored or not?

Jim Rome said today, that Michigan has ended 4 straight seasons with two losses in a row...if this is right, that is WAY BAD.

I'm pretty sure its 3...

Michigan beat OSU in '03 I believe.

^ You're right....

they ended with TWO losses in 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006....OUCH

They have lost 4 bowl games in a row.

What is this based on Fact? Every interview I have seen from Pete Carrol he seems to show alot of class and is well spoken. Guess it is rough on a Michigan fan when their coach gets outcoached in a huge game. Lyood Car seems to have no personality whatsoever.

2-8 over the past 5 years in their final two games of the season... meaning, tOSU and whoever UM played in the bowl game... in other words, the two most important games in Ann Arbor each season.
