Why would a win over UK be enough to propel Satterfield (or anybody) into a new job?

Is he running in quicksand until his contract is up?

If Cards win, is this his last game in Louisville?

I doubt it. They return 17 starters next year and expect to have a better year so I could see his stock really going up next year.

No.

Ratings mean absolutely nothing in rivalry games, can throw them out the back door!!

It's not about a UK win. He took over a team that was a complete disaster that had little in the pipeline due to the previous staffs horrible recruiting towards the end. Athletic Directors notice the quick turnaround and with so many jobs that are going to be open this year, he will definitely get some looks.

I will go with the Cards.  They are picking up momentum.  UK seems less focused since the slide.

Hard to pic this one.

UL has looked great lately… against Syracuse and Duke… that doesn’t tell us much.

UK seems to just be going through the motions since the Georgia loss.

At this point I think it’s 2 evenly matched teams. Should be a good game.

I’ll go with the Cards since they are at home.

UL 30

UK 24

Coming from a UK fan, I think it will depend on which Kentucky team shows up. If it's the Kentucky team that started the season 6-0 and last week's team then I think they will win. By at least 2 TD's. If it's the Kentucky team that showed up against Georgia and Miss State, then they will get ran out of Louisville.

You think the UK that lost by 17 points to the most dominant team in college football looked bad?

I just don't have a good feeling about this game.

Super Bowl Week for the Cats. Stoops will have them up and ready to cause trouble, as usual.

Spread has moved to Louisville by 3.5 on Scoresandodds.com. Surprised by this move.

I can only assume Satterfield will have the halls of the football dorms lined with hookers to get the team focused.

Kentucky 45-35.
