Guys quit hanging your hat on Glasgow as a quality win. They may be good in their district or region but they are not good. Beechwood would run clock Glasgow in the 1st half and would beat WC soundly if not run clock. CC and northern KY football is good.

That’s fine. I played 4 years of college ball with CC’s HC. I’ve also watched a lot of their film this year. This board is 99% opinion and 1% facts for the most part. The film I’ve seen on Glasgow formed my opinion. It’s ok to disagree about the Scotties lol. This thread is about WC and CC. The facts are that WC’s schedule is no where near as difficult as CC’s despite what any computer or website says. The film doesn’t lie. 

This is most intriguing matchup for me. I think this will be close game and wouldn't be surprised if either team won.

On the whole, Covington Catholic has played the tougher schedule. They've also lost to two of those good teams. But Woodford County has two of the three best wins among the two teams. I'm prepared to say Covington Catholic's schedule has been tougher but I'm not prepared to see wins over Franklin County and Glasgow dismissed as nothing because Covington Catholic beat Ryle and lost to Elder.

Win or lose the teams you are used to competing against week after week really matter when you face tough situations in the playoffs. Regarding calpreps, I don’t really think it’s all that accurate, just my opinion. That being said, CCH will definitely be the best team Woodford has seen this year(likely best coached as well). Woodford will not be that for CCH and I do think that matters.

I agree on most of this.

However, I disagree on calpreps.com. It is by far the most accurate rating system I have seen in any sport. That doesn't mean it gets every score predicted in matchups right. Things happen in football that make scores vary a lot. But as to the quality of a team - calpreps.com is on target, especially after the mid point of the season.

 My point with calpreps is more with the score projections being not all that great. I know CCH will be up for the challenge.

I think CovCath wins this by 3 touchdowns at least. I’ll say 42-21 CovCath.
