Ryle 21

CCH 17

I believe Ryle is the #2 ranked team in Northern Ky and I think they will find a way to win. If weather is a factor Ryle can go to the big back formation and they are tough to stop when they do that. Savage is a beast with the ball and tough to stop.

Looks like weather is going to be a factor, I don't see Cov Cath running the ball consistently on Ryle.

Ryle can definitely still pass in the rain. Verax rolled up 422 yards passing last week in the drizzling rain against Simon Kenton.

Lol. Someone has been paying attention.   After 9 weeks I still can’t figure out CCH. Win or lose, I’m never really surprised by the outcome anymore.

Other than the end of the LexCath game I think CCH has been pretty consistent.   You could also debate the Beechwood game but that was a better team playing some of their best football. 

Not sure what to think about this game. I think about comparing the Dixie scores for CCH and Ryle, 28-6 and 13-12, respectively, and think that CCH should be able to pull it out. However, the major offensive struggles in other games, such as against HHS, have me much less confident. In all honesty I don't think I would be surprised by any outcome, outside of a blow out either way.

The same could be said about comparative scores against HHS right?

In my opinion, generally speaking using the CCH/Highalnds score as a comparison when comparing to the rest of the region is not a good one to use. In my opinion this game is an anomaly. This is one of the most heated rivalries in the state and usually the underdog team that year (whoever that might be) usually raises the level of their game.  Where as either team may not have that same level of intensity against a Conner, Cooper or Boone Co. team.  There are times when Highlands has had a far superior team and CCH played way over their heads and made it a close game and vice versa.  This year I think both teams are fairly evenly matched, but the game intensity for both teams was pretty high.  Not sure this is a good representative for either team.
