A new name for the class of '22, Adou Thiero. Almamy Thiero, Adou's dad played for coach Cal at Memphis from 02-05. Adou grew from 5'7 to 6'5 from frosh to senior year and finished his career  with 1,624 points. He helped his Quaker Valley team to the PIAA Class 4A championship game and a runner up. He finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and three steals.

 

Kentucky offered him today.

Adou averaged 23.3 points and 10 rebounds per game this season.

The NBA CBA specifies pretty clearly that to be NBA Draft-eligible both: The player (A) is or will be at least 19 years of age during the calendar year in which the Draft is held, AND (B)...at least one (1) NBA Season has elapsed since the player’s graduation from high school.

This rule pertains to players who have been based in the US in the 3 years prior to their first NBA Draft year. Sharpe went to high school in Kansas and Arizona, and thus is not an international player (for whom HS graduation timing is irrelevant) according to NBA draft rules.

 

 

 

 

Sharpe "graduated" from high school before the NBA season started. That is how he is getting around the rule and is eligible for the draft this year.

Calipari visited Leonard Miller, a 6'10" small forward from Canada.  His story is a bit reminiscent of Anthony Davis.  He's grown something like 6 inches in a short amount of time and still has his guard skills.  Very long and athletic.  Considering a direct jump to the NBA.  Has a brother playing for TCU, who seems to be a strong candidate to land his services were he to go to college.

 

 Illinois State transfer Antonio Reeves will visit Kentucky per KSR. Reeves is a 6-foot-6 wing. Texas Tech, Ohio State, UNC, Alabama, Wisconsin, Xavier, LSU, BYU, Memphis, Missouri, Georgetown and UConn are the schools to have reached out to him so far.
