Sorry people but I just have to call this like it is - STUPID. Nobody is proving any point other than how easily their mind can be warped by others. I would have thought these football players and coaches would have cared enough about playing football to get the vaccine. If the players are vaccinated, these games would not be cancelled. This vaccine is safe and very effective. There have now been 5.34 BILLION doses of this vaccine given worldwide. How much proof do people want? Worried about possible long term side effects? This mRNA vaccine technology has been studied and refined for almost 30 years. These are facts. Look them up yourself. There is no legitimate reason to not get vaccinated. Just get it done people. Stop the stupidity. Let's be safe and let's play football.

Remember that these kids are minors and are not responsible for their healthcare decisions. Our staff is all vaccinated. We explained what could happen if our team was exposed. Our kids want to keep playing, but the choice to get vaccinated is not solely on a 14-18 year old's shoulder.

Agreed. That's why I like the stats @Colonels_Wear_Blue put out. If 40% of a county is vaccinated, you can probably only hope that 40% of a team is vaccinated. Most kids aren't getting something their parents refuse and in many cases are open and vocally against.
