He’ll leave. But it won’t be because he’s mad. I’m actually surprised that Fickell hasn’t left for bigger and better already. Cincinnati football has always been a launchpad, not a destination. I’d gu

No clue... Just some average Joe with a Twitter account ?

Paul Daugherty of the Cincinnati Enquirer writes in this morning's column that he thinks UC has a weak case against Brannen and needs to settle.

I can't remember but did his daughter continue to work for Brannen after Bezold was no longer with NKU?

Doc is another one in the minority that sides with Brannen. He's pretty much always been negative when it comes to anything UC.

The Complaint/lawsuit is designed to show Brannen in his best light, engender support for his position, and set the stage for settlement discussions, rather than the time consuming Discovery process. Mars purposely didn't put too many facts in the complaint because that would then give the defendants an opportunity to admit, deny, or claim not having enough information for the truth of the statements.

Since player health and safety was a major reason for Brannen's dismissal, I'm assuming former S&C coach Tyler Stuart and Head Athletic Trainer Bob Mangine will be key witnesses if this ever makes it to trial.

The lawsuit is just a ploy, IMO, to get a settlement done quickly and out of public eye. Suing the AD and president individually is already career suicide for Brannen. He will never be a HC again, unless it's at a low major program.

Your bias shows with every post you make.

We need to stick to the issues, not each other.

Justin Williams of the Athletic did an interview with Chris Vogt on everything that has gone on.

Vogt obviously spoke out in support of Brannen as a man and coach but did acknowledge there was a disconnect between Brannen and other players. Also confirmed that Brannen had issues with compliance and the medical staff and tried to justify it as Brannen simply thinking his way of doing things worked best because of prior success.

I guess my biggest takeaway from there being two different outlooks is, for those who believe Brannen has been unfairly dismissed, what explanation is there for the university taking the extraordinary and disruptive lengths to remove him? Especially given Cunningham's background as a compliance attorney.

From the BBP podcast, Chad Brendel seems to think this never makes it to trial due to the amount of dirt that will be uncovered by both sides, but at this point, neither Brannen nor the University seem to be backing down.

From Tari Eason's mom:

"left my son to take a Lyft for a national out of conference game in Georgia, because he didn’t realize his gear was in a different room. The rules were he was always the last man on the bus."

Not going to post the tweet because of the language in it after the last sentence, but this is just another small example of the silly stuff that players dealt with this year under Brannen. Kid wasn't on the bus in time after the game because he forgot his stuff, so Brannen and the team left and the kid had to take a Lyft to the airport.

Reminds me of some of the stories with Billy G at Kentucky.
