And your not a Brannen fan, as evidence by your posts.  Again, there are two sides to every story.

Not true at all. I supported Brannen until all of this stuff came out that showed who he was behind the scenes ... Go back and look at my posts from last year and throughout this season.

I was at his introductory press conference and at the team banquet following Cronin's final season. I first met him in 2015 at Boo Williams while covering an AAU event  when he was an assistant at Bama. I've never had a problem with him and actually think he is a pretty good X and O guy. I just think he's a terrible leader and these past two months have proven that with what has come out. I don't see how anyone can argue otherwise.

If there's two sides, why are Brannen and his attorney not denying any of this stuff?

He’ll leave. But it won’t be because he’s mad. I’m actually surprised that Fickell hasn’t left for bigger and better already. Cincinnati football has always been a launchpad, not a destination. I’d gu

Sounds like the practice that is in question where players were puking while running suicides at 6am in the morning came after many were at a Meek Mill concert and partying until 2am that morning.

That's all just social media scuttlebutt but an interesting side to the story I haven't seen anywhere.

Could be true... Wouldn't surprise me.

I still don't think we should ignore the documented incidents that happened numerous times with this year's team and mean Brannen didn't deserve to be fired.

I don't think some realize the "nerve" it takes for a medical staff to step in and stop a practice/workout because they feel it's unsafe.

Cumberland stated that "issues" were a regular thing during Brannen's first year and multiple players spoke out about how Brannen treated the team on and off the court this year as well.

FWIW... Brannen apparently knew the players plans to attend the concert and the practice/schedule time was based off that.

From a source "in the know":

"There's only one reason you schedule a 6 am track session the morning after you know your players are going to a concert the night before. And it isn't because you are worried about the season starting in 9 weeks..."

Him knowing his players would be up all night partying and scheduling an early practice the next morning doesn't surprise me at all.

Yeah, your not biased, right!

Why would Brannen and his attorney tip their hat and say anything in public?  They will get a chance to present their side of the story and win their appeal, then UC will have to pay the buyout.  UC has been dropping these stories to try and put pressure on Brannen to settle.  As I have said previously, Cunningham has screwed this thing up royally.  Will be funny when UC has to open the checkbook because of him.

Like I said previously, there are two sides to every story.  If your out all night partying, your most likely not going to be in the best shape to make it through a 6AM practice.

Not once has the University released a statement with details on the firing. Everything out there has been obtained and put out via public record and FOIA requests from local media. The university legally cannot withhold that information.

You're 100% wrong that Cunningham messed this process up. There's a reason Mars hasn't filed a suit. He knows he doesn't have a case that favors his client due to the facts that have been released .

So you can justify ONE practice before his first season... What about the others over two years that led to kids puking,  injuries, two different situations where a player was hospitalized and needed immediate medical attention, a separate workout where the medical staff had to step in and stop it, as well as all the other stuff that was documented with past year's team?

There's a reason Brannen and his attorney have gone quiet since details began being released by the media. They literally have no case to justify being paid a buyout. Brannen should have taken the settlement to resign and go quietly but his ego got in the way.

Did I claim to not be? I am sorry if it bothers you I believe your buddy is as biased as they come.  I called him out and he proved my point with his statement.

Ha, what am I supposed to go through each example and give you a justification?  Not happening.  I will just sit back and wait until UC loses the case and has to pay Brannen his money.

Think you may be a little disappointed with the outcome. Odds aren't looking good for your buddy Brannen considering the facts presented so far....and the fact that his attorney hasn't filed a lawsuit against the University to collect unpaid wages that he feels are owed to his client.   ?

You can’t try to discredit his statements based on bias when yours have been equally if not more biased in favor of JB. Pot meet Kettle.

Why should they rush the lawsuit?  I am sure it is in the works.  I hope your boy Cunningham is not holding on to the fact John spent $135 of his own money to try and help his player get the right help he needed, as the main means for the firing.  Seems like Cunningham was grasping for any straw he could find and in actuality, it makes Brannen look even better.  God forbid Brannen try and get some proper help for a kid struggling mentally, which UC didn’t have the proper channels to help out.  Also a lot of he said, he said in this allegation about who was notified and if UC is going to fight with this as their main bullet, might as well pay Brannen his money.

When did I say the non compliance admission by his attorney was the primary reason for his removal as head coach?

Allow me to re direct you back to the info below as further reasoning why Brannen is no longer at UC... On top of the things mentioned in the Cumberland interview from year 1:

I will say this......IF the University had the information about the well being of players being harmed and did nothing until the end of the season I have a problem with that.  The current information that is out is really a very bad look for Coach Brannen, and regardless of the outcome the damage is done.  Walter has always been very accurate on his UC information over the years and quite frankly him not rushing to defend Coach Brannen speaks volumes to me as far as what transpired.

As far as Brannen and his attorney not saying anything, any good attorney will have your tell your story once.  Regardless of how true or untrue things are, every time you tell your story you are at risk of minor changes or even worse being exposed.
