March 11, 20215 yr Hindsight is all 20/20, this team underachieved and didn’t even compete at times and the coaching was terrible at best. Another raise for Cal and we will be having same discussion this time next year.
March 11, 20215 yr It’s hard to believe that much talent only wins 9 games. Yes, it’s the #1 recruiting class thank you @Voice of Reason but the talent needs much more grooming. Without an alpha like Cade Cunningham, Cal just couldn’t figure this team out. I still think he has just as much equity with the school and team as he did before the season tipped off.

I have more to say but to be honest I'm tired of talking about this team and tired of dealing with thoughts and comments like this.

Today Allen played well and earned more playing time. Other games, Allen did nothing when he was out there and Cal put him back on the bench because he wasn't doing anything.

You have to have plays designed to get your sharp shooter in a position to score, and when they did that with him they were successful. A good example of that would be the regular season Mississippi State game on Jan. 2. He can be in the game, but if they didn't utilize him in those games of which you speak, that's not on him because the kid can clearly score when he gets the ball in his hands, just look at his resume.

March 11, 20215 yr I believe Dontaie was 2-15 from 3 from the start of February until today. That helps explain why he didn't get a lot of clock. Perhaps he still should have gotten more time, but that's why he didn't. Was giddy to see him play like he did today. Hopefully that gives him confidence for next year.
