Been quite a week in NKY.  I guess this system shifted drastically or grew, not sure which.  In the past 2 hours Independence area has probably picked up 2+ inches of snow.  I left Wilder around 3pm because they said the weather was getting bad.  By the time I made it to Turkeyfoot the roads were all snow covered.  Most recent weather channel forecast said 3-5 inches of snow expected tonight.  The forecast this morning called for up to 1 inch of snow by Friday morning.

The weather got pretty serious pretty quickly in NKY.  Seems it started in Florence around 230-3 and then by 4 the roads were completely covered and pretty dangerous.  I saw multiple cars slide off the road on my 10 minute drive home from work.
