How many players do the Longhorns have available?

Lunardi says Ky’s at-large bid hinges heavily on this game.

I saw that.  I'm a little surprised that it still hinges on anything.

When did they expand the tournament to 128 teams?

College Basketball is becoming more and more irrelevant and hard to watch. NCAA powers that be will put a 12-12 13-13 or whatever KY team in the field this season to draw some more interest. Since Covid stole last seasons tourney and a whole lot of $$$$. KY a 14 seed play in game would draw a lot of interest. CATs need this game in a bad way but if Texas is healthy they win. They have 3 outstanding guards we have zero.

I mean, it makes sense for a .500 team to make the tournament when teams get bids just a few games over .500, and those teams this year didn't have the luxury of playing bunnies. So I don't find that odd; but in UK's situation here is the list of teams they beat out of conference: Morehead State. Even if they win Saturday it will be a fight to reach 10 wins unless something drastic changes.

Is Clarke playing?

Not supposed to.

Wouldn't be shocked if UK won, but I'll say Texas by 5.

If Texas has the players out (including 2 starters) and a head coach like they had against Oklahoma, Kentucky will win by 8 or 9.
