 Probably but there may have been a chance if they got to 2nd or 3rd place regular season and finish runner up in the SEC tournament with a win over Texas that they could get in.

That hurts.   Kentucky isn't going to find many quality wins within their SEC schedule that will get them the attention a win over Texas would have.

Not me. This was the most important must play game left on the schedule.

Did we ever hear more details about why the game was cancelled, other than COVID precautions? Someone test positive or some exposed or something?
