There has been a change in the CBS Sports Challenge for this Sat. due to Covid protocols now Kentucky will play North Carolina and UCLA will now take on Ohio State. The KY/NC game will be at 2:00 from Cleveland. This will be another tough test for the Cats probably a little tougher that what UCLA might have been based on current rankings. Here is hoping we see the 2nd half Cats from Sat. and not the Cats for all the other times so far this season. Go Cats!!

We'll be fine.   They've been in Camp Cal.  He's always got the Cats playing their best by March.   Just needed Clarke at point guard to fix everything.  No one will want to play UK come tourney time.   Am I forgetting anything?

I'm totally confused on the game changes.  I'm assuming the protocols were in place when these teams were matched up and were just disregarded or did the TV not agree on how they were matched up.  So, what happens when they get to March Madness, do all the covid protocols get changed or do they swap opponents along the way?

Carolina has some solid bigs.  UK could really use Brooks in this game.

I am not sold on Carolina.  I think this is the game that UK wins.  Now I am not saying UK goes on a tear and is great the rest of the year, but I think this is better for them than playing UCLA, who I think is getting much better since a bad first game.

If the Cats lose this one, making the NCAA tournament is going to be mighty difficult.

I don't think we're there yet. They will still run through the SEC and post a gaudy record and likely win the SEC Tourney. They are only in danger of missing the tourney if they play this way in league play, which I don't think is likely. 

UNC opened up as a three point favorite. The Tar Heels aren’t a great team this year. Unfortunately, UK isn’t even a decent team at this point.

I still think UK will be fine this season but I liked our chances against UCLA much more.

Oh well, I’d rather beat or be beaten by UNC anyway.

I agree with this.

I’ll also add that much of UKs success will depend on BJ Boston getting better or Cal swallowing his pride and benching him.
