It may very well not make a difference in the outcome, but West Carter is obviously comfortable on that playing surface, as evidenced by how they handled WV on it last night. Beechwood might not be.

Unless I'm mistaken, Beechwood hasn't played on a natural surface since the season opener at Corbin. They're used to the faster track of an artificial surface. If I'm West Carter, I'm looking for every little edge I can find to make the Tigers uncomfortable.

A natural surface field can definitely be a uncomfortable thing for the tigers. 

I hope to get tickets as I think this will be a good game.

Unless West Carter’s line is much bigger than the Tigers I’m sure it won’t make much of a difference. 

I still don’t understand how this RPI crap works. I was just looking at West Carter’s schedule. Their schedule doesn’t even come close to Beechwood’s but some how they have a higher RPI.

Strength of schedule doesn’t get put into the equation if I’m not mistaken. A huge flaw of the RPI. 

Even with the home field, Hergott is too good. 28-14 Beechwood. 

Surprised Beechwood has to make the drive.  But it's been a funny year.  Just too much for WC.  Beechwood by 3 scores.

Correct. In RPI, West Carter beating Boone County by 13 points was much better than Beechwood losing on a last second field goal to Covington Catholic.

The two most important factors in RPI are wins and beating schools in the higher classes (regardless of how good that higher class team is).
