Somerset (4-0) established itself as the king of the district and ultimately the king of 2A last season. Danville (3-0) on the other hand took a back seat not only to Somerset but LCA as well. So far this season it has looked like another fight between Somerset and LCA for the top spot in 2A but Danville has shown their youth movement is ready to at least be a part of the conversation. The Ads opportunity comes this Friday night as Somerset comes to Titletown Friday night. Has Danville progressed enough to retake their spot at the top of the district or will Somerset hold onto their crown for another week?

This will be the biggest challenge yet for Somerset. I’ll take the Briar Jumpers by 17.

Somerset will still be to much for a young but talented Danville squad. The Ads have one more year before Title Town will be restored. Give me the bunnies by 14.

This will be a good test of where the Ads stand.  They've done a great job out of district but they have to be able to take care of Somerset/LCA to advance deep in the playoffs because of the new, ridiculous district playoff formatting.  I'm excited to see how this game comes out, but Somerset is definitely the favorite.

Somerset needs this game, regardless of the outcome it is great to be playing a game that means something. Hopefully the plethora of injuries they are enduring are cleared up by this Friday.

This should be a good game. Danville has a fast stingy defense.

This is a very dangerous game for Somerset.   In Danville they're facing a young,  but experienced team that is playing with a lot of confidence and at home.   The Jumpers have had a tendency to start slowly so far this season, and they've been at or above 10+ penalties in all 4 if their games.   They're also a little bit banged up and have that huge matchup with LCA looming next week.  All the ingredients are there for the Ads to come out,  take it to Somerset early and make this a dogfight to the end.   Somerset has a better team,  but the talent level is close enough that they aren't going to win this one on talent alone.  They need to be focused.   I think that's exactly how they'll be Friday.   Danville makes a game of it deep into the second half but give me Somerset 33, Danville 21.  

There are a lot of unknowns in this game. Somerset's schedule has not been very strong. Danville is probably the best team they have played all season.  These teams have a common opponent in Hazard. Comparing those scores, Somerset is a 2 TD favorite.

Danville is, by far, the best team they have played all year. I agree with the previous posts. If they come out flat like they have all year and they don't clean up penalties this could be a very tight game.

My gut tells me Somerset by a couple of scores but I've seen some wild rides in the rivalry and nothing would surprise me.

As far as I know, the Ads have only had audio broadcasts thus far on WHIR AM 1230.
