The Tomcats finally take the field for the first time this season, following multiple game cancellations in the first two weeks. Senior running back Keontae Pittman is surely itching to stretch his legs and improve on his 1,200 yards from last year. Pittman is a top 15 recruit in Kentucky, with offers from Cincinnati and Miami (OH).

Bourbon County (1-1) elected to go for the win vs. Knox Central last week and came up short on a potential game winning two point conversion near the end of regulation. The Colonels have been led offensively in this early season by the Estes brothers. Sophomore QB Clay has thrown for over 400 yards through two games, with six touchdown passes against zero interceptions. Over half of that yardage and four of those touchdowns have found their way into the hands of big brother Parker.

Ashland and Bourbon County met three years in a row in the playoffs, from 2015-2017, with the Tomcats winning each contest by three touchdowns or more.

Will Pittman run wild on the turf in Paris and propel visiting Ashland to victory, or will the Colonels keep him bottled up and make the plays necessary to come away with a win over a ranked opponent?
