Two things since the inception of the playoffs a #1 or #3 seed has never won the title. That will change and I can safely without a doubt say the Tigers will win the title.

Seems fitting that Clemson will get a chance to defend the title and that LSU has to beat them for it.

 

I think LSU wins, but it'll be a lot closer than people will predict.

I look for the over/under to be something like 70. Maybe more.

I look forward to the next 16 days both Clemson and LSU are a little cocky should be some good quotes by both teams.

LSU is a 4.5-point favorite over Clemson at FanDuel, and a 5.5-point favorite at DraftKings.

 

 

DraftKings also opened the total at 71 and dropped to 70.5.

ESPN had the early line at 3.5 for LSU.

It’ll be interesting to see what conference crew gets this game. It will be either Big 10, Pac12, or Big 12 I guess.

LSU wins easily. 49-21.

I expect a high scoring game. LSU defense isn’t as good as OSU. They don’t have the same type of pass rush to go along with great coverage in the secondary. So while Clemson’s offense may not have looked great tonight, their offense is still one of the best in the country.

Lawrence is 25-0 as a starter and on the other side you have the heisman winner in Burrow. Man what a game this is gonna be. Can't wait. I have my money on the Tigers...

This is the most I’ve looked forward to a National title game in a long time.

Should be a very enjoyable and fun game to watch. My head says LSU but my gut says Clemson.
