Open Job: Boyle County

Hopefully we know something today/soon.

I will say one thing after talking to several sources off the record on this coaching search, there is a ton of misinformation out there.

Who Ya With!

It’s like putting a camera on a door in Memphis n waiting for Cal to walk through.

I’m thinking it will be Haddix, being announced today. Hearing from different people in the loop on each side. Will be interesting to see what direction Corbin goes in. Program was on the downswing before Haddix took the job. Only time will tell before things are official.

The all time classic "The Door"!

My source tells me it ain't Wolfe.

I'm seeing several tweets about Haddix, though.

Per Danville area radio host Larry Vaught:

"Well I was just contacted by Boyle source I trust who told me only one person had been offered job -- and it was not Haddix. Assuming that was Brandon Smith and he said no apparently."

Like I said to someone privately, who knows...but maybe Boyle County is stealing a play out of NewCath's playbook. Word was out that Steve Lickert was the new head coach at New Cath, then the school came out and said "No, we haven't selected a new head coach yet." ....and then the next morning they put out an official announcement that Lickert was the new head football coach.

Is Stephen Lickert out at Campbell County?

Stephen Lickert is the new football coach at Newport Central Catholic

NewCath AD Jimmy Ryan says Steve Lickert is NOT the new NCC Coach - (False)

Wonder if Guy Morris has applied this time around?

Next coach is Bobby Boucher.:ylsuper:

We are waiting for Boucher’s Mom to wake up out of her coma first. :lol2:

Perhaps Wolfe has been notified to hang on for one more year at Male.

Idk, maybe another job will open up in November.

Good luck to Boyle County in their search for a new coach.

Never mind? What?

Congrats Coach, welcome to Boyle County. Home of the Rebels !!!

Never mind this.

Has he changed his mind BEChargers? Info here is really spotty too.

Buddy, I really don't know. I talked to several people today that had really, really good sources and everything seemed ready to go then it just stopped. I don't know if somebody changed their mind or have a different time table planned and it got leaked or if he is not the guy at all. Had within 20 minutes time about 5 messages all around 8 am say the deal was done. A couple of them were Corbin folks and the rest Boyle. Seems odd each side would all hear the same thing at the same time and it not be true but who knows. I think I'll just keep my mouth shut till it's over. Mr. Haddix, if you want me to share anything with the world, please just email me at [email protected]. If it doesn't come from you, I'm not sharing. LOL.

And he probably won't come back to the Big FT.
