I don't know if I agree with this. Cause BG's defense has been dang good. BUT if the highlight of your team is special teams, that's not a good thing IMO.

 

The defense has been great, but the returning, coverage and blocking punts and field goals in big time moments have been huge. Teams try to kick it away from the athletes and it ends up in another athletes hands and gives them great field position. That teamed up with the great defense is what makes the team special, the defense is just as good if not better, but those two together have been a force in both SW games.

I've never been to South Oldham so I be making my stadium debut Friday. It looks like from pictures I have found online that the visitor side seating is very small.

 

Are you allowed to stand and watch the game on the track? I might end up doing that. Froms the pictures I found I have feeling that side will be very full of Purple fans.

I think BG wins this game, but it will be interesting to see how South Oldham plays and handles the situation. I seems as if they've been close the last few years, but just can't get over the hump. We'll see what they can do on Friday.

South has been knocking on the door the past four seasons, winning at least ten games each of those four years. The Dragons have been to the Class 5A semi-finals two of the past three years.

 

Killowatt, there isn't a lot of room in the visitors' stands, but lots of folks tend to gravitate to the fence along the track. Should be a pretty crowded stadium come Friday.

Hopefully you can answer.. is there room in the visitor stands for the canopy tents in case of rain?

I doubt they let you do that with pretty limited seating, but I honestly don't know.

 

Keep watching the weather as I'm very hopeful that the rain moves out by game time.

It will rain alot early, but hoping for clear skys at game time! Cross your fingers.

Tents in stands period should be banned.

Running the ball does not work well against the Purples.

 

Never has. Other than Warren Central in 2010 and Indianapolis Warren Central last year, I cannot think of a primarily-run team that has beat the Purples.

 

South Oldham doesn't have the players either of those Warren Central teams had.
