I’m kinda hoping Stoops takes the Florida State job. He is to hard headed once he decides he’s gonna start someone at QB he keeps at no matter how bad they play. Playing Smith has got to be better than Bowden. A bad passing game is better than no passing game. Bowden has no business playing QB I wouldn’t start him at QB in D3 let alone in the SEC.

Tennessee has lost to Kentucky twice in my lifetime. Year in, and year out, I simply never believe Kentucky is going to win this game. Tonight is a perfect example of why. Same with Florida.

It means to hard to tell if last year was the peak. They were going to step back this year because they can't replace stars with stars the very next year. So hard to tell if that was the peak and all down hill from here. Or if this is just going down a small hill before going up to a higher peak. Won't know that until next year or the year after.

I think Eddie Gran has done a good job as the OC, but two things that make me scratch my head is his short yardage play calling and how he can’t get Lynn Bowden to run a roll out flood concept. He’s a former high school quarterback, I’m sure he can a curl/flat read. As long as this team gets to a bowl game it will be a plus, but what a waste of an “easy” schedule this has been.

 

Also, if Sawyer Smith is healthy he needs to be the starter from here on out.

Rodriguez 12 carries for 81 yards. Smoke 8 carries for 58 yards. AJ Rose 16 carries for 44 yards. Outside of a 26 yard gain, Rose has 15 carries for 18 yards!! I don't get the love for Rose from the coaches. At the beginning of the year, the answer was that Rose was better at catching the ball and pass protection. No need to worry about any of that in this game. Play Smoke and Rodriguez the whole game and this is an easy win.

Here is the key, coaching staff does a GREAT job recruiting, they are 180 degrees the other way when it comes to in game coaching/adjustments.
