August 21, 20197 yr I wish! A petite lobster tail is considered a side dish, imo, a great one at that. If that's considered cheating though I'd go with loaded baked potato and asparagus.
August 22, 20197 yr Butter only baked potatoe and Lexingtonian salad! Swap out the baked potato for Malone's potato croquettes and now you're talking. Never been much of a baked potato guy.

August 22, 20197 yr How do you grill the asparagus? On aluminum foil? I use a disposable aluminum pan. I coat the bottom with about 1/8" of olive oil and season the asparagus with minced garlic. I cook it over high heat until the asparagus is tender. I then finish it off by melting shredded parmesan cheese over the top of it for a couple of minutes.

August 22, 20197 yr Eating healthy I see. If I'm having a beer with it then I will go loaded baked potato and salad(with bacon bits) If I'm trying to eat healthy then asparagus and carrots. Haha I just love asparagus with steak seasoning.

August 22, 20197 yr Asparagus might be the worst vegetable ever. Asparagus or stewed tomatoes; it’s a tossup. I was watching Cheap Eats yesterday and the guy was in Charleston. For lunch he got what looked to be a superb crab cake sandwich. But it was paired with a vile substance called tomato pie. I nearly hurled.
August 22, 20197 yr That is a crazy take. I would never choose asparagus as a side given the choice. Quite literally, never. That's a good way to ruin a good steak dinner.
