Actually, to be completely technical, Tinius has a scholarship offer from Western. Western is now a going to the Sunbelt conference as a D1A school. I believe WVU is also interested in Tinius. Tinius is an excellent soccer player. BG's boys soccer team won their state championship this year. In the shadows of Tinius is another soccer player, Matt Simpson, who can kick as well as Tinius. I don't know either's longest distances or records. CC's kicker's record is excellent. The very cold temps. expected for Friday will dilute the kicking game somewhat for both teams.

With the kid from CCH, once they pass mid field they are in range. I can honestly say I have never seen anyone like him at this level. Before anyone jumps on that...I have not seen BG in several years either, so not taking anything away from their K. If it had not been for several 50+ yarders at HHS in the first game, it would have resulted in a different outcome.

He hasn't hit a long one in a few games. He has tried several but nothing 50+. Weather could have been in the factor in a couple of the attempts. Nerves in others.
