As far as salad dressing, I do balsemic vinegaratte or caeser most of the time. Ken's dressing has a Valdalia Onion dressing that is really good.

The most overrated salad dressing in the world is the Italian dressing at Olive Garden. Everything at Olive Garden is overrated save for the breadsticks, but that salad dressing is trash.

I am an oil and vinegar type person. My favorite is balsamic and olive oil. My 1a favorite is red wine vinegar and olive oil. But a Greek vinigarette or a miso is right up there too

There aren't many dressings I won't eat. I don't love Ranch, but I'll eat it. Same goes for Italian and Thousand Island. Blue cheese has to be chunky. But even then, it's better on wings than salad.

 

A couple of my favorites are French/Catalina (especially Texas Roadhouse's Honey French) and Newman's Own Raspberry and Walnut vinaigrette. A good Balsamic vinaigrette gets a thumbs up from me too.

If not at Rafferty's, I typically go ranch when eating out. Kraft's Creamy French at home.

 

I use Italian in a lot of different food preps, but not all that often on an actual salad.

I have really started to like French California, which I put on salads at home. Just wish I could find a light version of it now.

 

We don't go to sit down places all that often, and when I do, I don't get a salad.

I don't use salad dressing. Salt and pepper, sometimes a little olive, and I am good.

Mostly bleu cheese, but that sweet vidalia onion dressing you're talking about is quite good. It's especially good for marinading chicken breasts before grilling.
