Should be a good one. I am sure Scott Co. players all to well remember what happen last season. What does everyone think of this one? Should be one of the better first round games. It is Thursday, March 7 at 1:30.

Billy Hicks exacts a little revenge for his last two losses to CovCath in State Championship games, although he would have certainly rather had one of those Championship game dubs.

Cards by double digits.

My heart says CovCath but my mind absolutely does not.

Four trips to Rupp in 6 years. Only loss in that run so far was an overtime loss in the semi to the eventual champs in 2015. Hope they pull off what would be a upset Wed.

Both titles came against Scott Co?

Revenge will definitely be on Scott County’s mind.

I always want our region to look good down state. This game worries me from that perspective. The Colonels have overcome a lot of weaknesses to get back to Rupp. Hopefully they can do it again. Scott County has stumbled a couple times recently so they aren't unbeatable. Good luck to the Colonels.

It will be a short trip for CCH. Scott Co by 10+

Colonels play Thursday at 1:30.

I'm thinking a motivated, focused Scott County will be too much for CovCath to overcome. But that is why they play the games. Good luck Colonels.

Pulling for Convingtom Catholic and the local boys, but I have Scott County by 10+.

Scott County is clearly the favorite but beatable - just as Henry Clay and Dunbar have shown us.

Ruthsatz has had Hick's number the two times they have met in the state tourney over the last 5 years. Each time CCH was the underdog!

I am hoping for an all NKY finals between CCH and WV or Campbell!

Not a good match up for Scott Co.

Give me CCH 61-54.

In what way is it a bad matchup? I don't know much about Scott Co.

I'd also be interested to hear why CCH is a bad matchup for Scott County. The Cardinals seem like they've had the full package this year, although Moreno isn't playing at full strength right now.

Admittedly, I'm not terribly knowledgeable about either of these teams beyond the fact that they're both obviously very good and well coached. But I've got some questions to ponder in anticipation of this game.

- How much stock should be placed in Ruthsatz's ability to best Hicks under the bright lights of Rupp?

- How sure is everyone that Scott County is back to its old self again? They seemed to go on walkabout for the last half of February. Is one good showing versus Henry Clay enough to convince you that they've suddenly flipped a switch and found their mojo again?
