David Johnson scores 29 points to lead the Rocks.

Johnson took over after the Male student body started chanting "Daddy's money" to him (whatever that is supposed to mean), per reports from some in attendance. I was not there. Former UK great Derek Anderson evidently is an assistant coach for Male. Male started 5 juniors----will be super tough next year.

They chanted that at St.X game at Sebian Dillard. I don’t get it either.

Heckuva a game.

Early lead by H was worrisome.

T helped - made 3of 4 (on the foul).

Others need to contribute.

Ballard wants to be X and T so bad they can’t stand it. So they chant to mock X/T players about going to a private school. Almost as stupid as an overrated chant.

I meant when played Male not Ballard game tonight.

DJ with more than half the Rocks points - glad to see him be a little more selfish- nice performance!

The "Daddys Money" chant is definitely aimed towards the private school education!

David Johnson showed the many facets of his game tonight - ball handling, assists, dunks, mid-range jumpers, 3- point shooting . . . . He is such a nice, complete player. If he continues to play like this, which I think he will, and Trinity gets some offense from other players, it will be hard for anyone to beat them.

Tough first round regional draw for both teams.

Tim Haworth ended up in a better spot by being pushed out at Hoptown. What seemed to be a bad thing a year ago turned into him being in a great situation.

Dating back to the 2010/2011 season, Trinity has either made the Sweet 16 or have been bounced by Ballard in one of the rounds of region or district. Pretty bizarre stat. Could hold true again if they meet in the finals on Saturday.

The way Ballard played last night, I'll be surprised if they get by Waggener to face Trinity.
