BTW,

Trinity will be selling tickets for this game tomorrow morning starting at 8:00am. They will not be there Thursday or Friday...get'em all, and get'em early.

My problem is this. I think that Male and Henry Clay have the equal number of crazy talent. I think Male's QB and offense is better than Henry Clay's...however HC's defense is much better suited to slow down our style of play, or at worst make us sustain long drives. That's my concern.

Maybe Trinity's fans will smell blood in the water now that they have made it to the semi-finals and motivate the Rocks to play their best. Anything less will probably not be good enough to produce a win. Trinity has good talent, not great talent, and no D1 players I can think of in the senior class. Trinity does have good coaching. Should be an interesting game.

I have my hand raised.... Did HC earn the home field or is it just how the playoffs are set up this year?..... I'm thinking the latter.

I still think T will put up enough points to win, however the defense will have to win this one..stop the passing game. Which will be hard but possible, i think

You would be correct.

Any update on the start time? As I read the KHSAA manual, the game is at 7:30 on Friday UNLESS BOTH teams agree
Did I miss something, or are we still uncertain about the game time?

Sorry.....gametime is at 7:30, I confirmed this with the Athletic Office today.

Trinity wins this one by at least 3 TDs.

I have not seen Henry Clay, but looking at who they have played, the scores, and reading the few articles I could find and a few postings here on Bluegrass Preps I feel Trinity's offense will take command of this game and control it. Trinity's defense will rise to the occassion again and hold Henry Clay's offense down.

I predict Trinity and Ryle at Papa John's on November 30.

good LUCK rocks......................OUCH that hurts.

I think the Rocks win by 2 or 3 TD's.

I just got my ticket. Kristen said that they are all general admission and no reserved seats. Only $5.00. What a deal!!! "GO ROCKS"

Does anyone know if the guy who beats that little drum in the stands for Trinity will be at the Trinity Henry Clay game Friday?

I have a feeling that is a stupid question lol

See the bolded part of the quote. :D

Henry Clay's QB is a first year starter, a senior (I think). Henry Clay runs the Tony Franklin system so they throw the ball around a lot. The QB is surrounded by a lot of talent; they have a very big offensive line, a solid running game, and the best recieving core in the state.

If Trinity gets a lot of pressure on Henry Clay's QB or if he gets rattled early, Chase Minnifield will go to QB no doubt. Minnifield is one of the best athletes in the state and is commited to Virginia.

Someone who saw the Henry Clay/Bell County game might want to confirm this but I was told Bell Co. was up 14-0, Henry Clay put Minnifield at QB and he scored 4 TD's to give HC a 28-14 win.

Bell County was ahead 14-12 in the fourth quarter when Chase Minnifield and Ryan Phillippi changed positions and Chase took the direct snaps and ran for something like eight straight plays for the go ahead touchdown.

Chase scored another touchdown in the last minute to seal the Henry Clay win in a muddy, hostile environment.
