Who has Henry Clay lost to this year?
They've lost only once. Oct 20: Lafayette 25 Henry Clay 13
See the bolded part of the quote. :D

I may have to buy him a new drum then lol That thing he stole off of a little drummer boy from Toys R Us in the 1970's has got to go :D

We have heard of HC receivers and a little of their defense, how does HC special teams look like this year, are they solid like the rest of the team? Return men, coverage, and kickers.

Also their D and O line.

No way, that thing is awesome!! He finally has it broken in!

What I would like to hear from HC fans is how this team compares to last year's edition. I know their big bruising back is gone, as is the QB. How do they stack up this year? How about their D? Better at stopping the run? or the pass? I guess Minniefield went both ways last year, how about this year? Any other kids go both ways? At what positions?

If any Rock fans are interested. HC has a pretty nice web site at henryclayfootball.com. Click on highlights and there are several video clips of all of their games. Pretty good stuff.

Sweet....what time are you heading up there?

Trinity rocks HC and Trinity shows that have what it takes to make it to the pizza box.

Friday's weather in Lexington is going to be delightful! The high will be 62 degrees so I would assume it will be in the middle 50's at kickoff.

Perfect weather for a great matchup! Go Devils.

Minniefield goes both ways and alternates at corner and safety

Boyd is the only other person i can think of that goes both ways and he is at corner on defense

If im not mistaken one of their d-lineman also starts at reciever???

Does anyone know if the guy who beats that little drum in the stands for Trinity will be at the Trinity Henry Clay game Friday?

I have a feeling that is a stupid question lol

That is a no brainer Golfer. You know you'll be there right with him.

As for the game, someone above stated that if you get up on Henry Clay early then they tend to fold. That is so true. If Trinity can come out of the gates on fire and jump out to a 21-0 lead then I would expect a blowout.

#6 is their d end and wide receiver. He is more of a receiver than d end or that's the way he looks. He has had several Personal Fouls/Unsportsmanlike penalties on the year.

Only if the Trinity fans knew how much the little drummer boy for Trinity has enriched Son of Bear's life over the past few years :sssh:

Just returned from practice a little while ago. Interest seems very high for this game and tickets were selling briskly. I would guess the fan attendance for this practice was between 500 to 700. It was great to see so many former football Rocks from the past few years and beyond. As usual the donuts, coffee and hot chocolate were great. A copy of the Herald Leader sports section with a story about the game made its way around the crowd. It seems that a few of the HC players blamed last year's loss on the crowd noise at Marshall Stadium. I'm predicting plenty of green tomorrow night complete with similar volume.

GO ROCKS GO!!!

bring em on...they'll all fit.
