November 17, 200619 yr McFadden- ArkansasI they win out he gets it. No chance regardless of where the Hogs finish.
November 17, 200619 yr He may not be in the NYC for this event but come April, you'll hear his name before 99% of the others. No argument. I've never claimed anything to the contrary. However, a WR without a good QB on a good not great team will NEVER win the Heisman. That was my only claim.
November 17, 200619 yr Slayton may very well be the best player in college right now and probably should win it but isn't he a sophmore.
November 17, 200619 yr Slaton and Mcfadden are the best I've seen this year....Especially with Peterson hurt and out of the running...
November 17, 200619 yr An OSU win tomorrow and it looks like this: Troy Smith Brady Quinn (although I think is overrated) Steve Slaton (1a most exciting player in college football) McFadden (1b most exciting player in college football) Everyone else (Henne, Ray Rice, etc.)
November 17, 200619 yr Quinn should win it. The guy hasn't thrown an interception since September 23 against Michigan State. In that span, he has thrown 18 touchdowns to 0 interceptions. Smith's speed gets hyped up quite a bit but he hasn't rushed for as many touchdowns as Quinn has. Smith has rushed for 1 compared to Quinn's two.
November 18, 200619 yr The QB on the number one team has a leg up. If OSU and Smith don't fall apart tomorrow, he's almost a lock. His QB rating is actually higher than Quinn's, who will probably finish second. McFadden, Slaton and Rice are the best RBs I've seen this year, in that order. Peterson may have headed that list before he got injured.
November 19, 200619 yr And the winner is, .... TROY SMITH He won that trophy with today's performance. Mark it down.
