November 19, 200619 yr And the winner is, .... TROY SMITH He won that trophy with today's performance. Mark it down. Indeed. A no-brainer. Anybody spouting Brady Quinn stuff after today needs to get their Kelly Green glasses checked.
November 19, 200619 yr What are the rules on inviting candidates for the Heisman presentation?? Does it not depend on the amount of votes one receives? Will Troy Smith be the only person invited?

November 19, 200619 yr Smith deserves it. Im not a fan of him or the Buckeyes but he is for real. Also I gotta say Ginn. He completes Smith and Smith should givve like the arm of the trophy to him or something. When Smith is in trouble Ginn is right there he is an incrediable reciever.
November 19, 200619 yr Smith proved he is this years Heisman today against Michigan. 4 TDs 1 INT, not too bad against the #2 team in the Nation.

November 19, 200619 yr Mike Hart deserves to be in NYC. He may deserve to be there, but he should decline the invitation for fear of embarrassment …

November 19, 200619 yr Very Very weak Heisman class IMO. Does not match up to past years. How many other classes from the past could have matched last years? :thumb:
November 19, 200619 yr It's interesting to read all the Troy Smith hate mail. The guy is the best offensive general in big games. He is only the 2nd OSU QB in history to go 3-0 against U of M. His work against Texas this year and Notre Dame in last years Fieta Bowl clearly show he is #1. Brady Quinn is a good QB, but is no Troy Smith. Quinn was recruited by Tressel, but chose ND so he could be a starter. He knew he would play second fiddle to Smith. Smith is the claer cut winner of the Heisman. Anyone else would be a joke.
