Thirty unanswered against the Tide. With all those crazy side bets out there, a guy could have made some serious bank on that one.

Beat down by a Freshman qb let that sink in Bama! :D

The best true freshman quarterback to play in a long time. Pending that Lawrence doesn’t get injured or anything else out of the ordinary, he’s a clear lock for the heisman next season and likely a lock for the number one draft pick whenever he chooses to head out.

Clemson was also minus 3 players one being starter DT Lawrence 6'5 340 pounds.

Alabama is going to have to join a conference before we can consider letting then into the playoff again.

Only the rigors of playing a full conference schedule and having to win a conference championship would prepare then to face a team the likes of Clemson.

Perhaps all the talk about the demise of Notre Dame wasn’t giving Clemson enough credit for their semifinal result.

Does it still mean more?

Yes, it does...just can't win them all!

Christian Wilkins is a stud. NFL teams that need a DT better get him they can.

Yep, turns out the SEC is just another conference.

The question is did Clemson break Bama tonight? Not likely with the recruiting.

Given that players are now sitting out of bowl games to avoid injury, should Lawrence just go ahead and quit school and just chill out with a personal trainer for the next two years. His draft status could only fall or God forbid suffer a career changing injury.

To be fair, Bama also had 3 players suspended and a starting linebacker injured.

SEC won 6 bowl games. No problems there.

Tonight's title game came down to Alabama being unable to score TD's in 1st and goal situations and turnovers. Alabama won time of possession and had more first downs than Clemson. Total yards in the game were 482 for Clemson and 443 for Alabama. Alabama had three drives in the second half before it got out of hand and drove to the red zone all three times. All three times they got stopped on fourth down and got no points.

Clemson left absolutely no doubt about the question of who the best cfb team in America is. Dabo's boys beat Bama in every way possible to beat a team. I thought that Clemson might win in a very close game but nothing like the beating that we just witnessed. I'm sure that Bama fans are now steaming even more that Clemson's receiver, #8 (can't think of his name right now... another OR brain fart, lol) chose Clemson over Bama.

Dabo Sweeny, imo is right behind Saban as the best ncaa football coach in the country (now that U. Meyer has retired, left coaching (for now anyway)). Both Saban and Sweeny are the example of class and how they run their programs both on and off the field. My statement about Sweeny this takes nothing away from Nick Saban and Alabama and what that program, coach and team they have speaks for itself. Imo, Alabama is the top football team, program of all time and Nick Saban will go down as the best football coach in history by the time that he is done, if he's not already that.

This was another great college football season and I'm already looking forward to next Sept., start of the next season. There's nothing like NCAA Sports and imo the pro's (especially the NFL, NBA) fail in comparison of my favorites to watch.

Clemson is the new Bama.
