Brohm is a good quarterback, but wasn't he a Heisman candidate going into this year? He certainly hasn't lived up to that.

Okay I looked..he missed two games. I''m not sure who's the overall better QB...but we definetly know who's having a better year. :lol:

Is that really a surprise? He has a cadaver's achilles in his knee and a ligament reattached in his thumb over the past 13 months. How do you project Woodson with the same hill to climb. This argument is becoming a joke...

I think it was clear they wanted to knock the rust off before WVU and Rutgers if he could go. Since it should be clear you watched the UC and Cuse game, what are your thoughts on his performance???

 

I didn't say I watched the games. I saw bits and pieces of them. Considering he put the ball up 37 times against Cincy, I think you can put the bad hand excuse to rest. The against Cuse, he had a good completion percentage, but not much yardage and no tds against a team that has struggled this year. Against WVU, he had a ton of yards, but again, only 1 td.

 

But I know what you're going to say. "The ran the ball for all the tds that they got." That may very well be, but your question was about his performance. I'd maybe give him a 70/100.

He wasn't going deep much on UC, but he was forced to throw. And that was because like everyone not named Steve Slaton (and maybe Ray Rice), it's very hard to run on the UC D. This is my point. A stat sheet is very easy to use, but hard to grasp if you didn't see the game more often than not. Trust me, I know. Brohm took what both UC and Cuse gave him, and won the game at about 75-80% health. Maybe it's just me, but I rate guys that do that pretty high on the scale of players I want on my team...

Let's face facts. If Brohm was as concerned with his NFL career as some seem to be, he wouldn't be back out there at 75-90%...

Healthy enough to play? Sure. Healthy? No chance...

So what you're saying is that Brohm would've thrown 15 tds in those two games? That's how many he trails by. That's pretty impressive. He's only thrown 6 in 7 games, but in those 2 games he was going to throw 15 if he had played? Is that what you're saying?

So going by the stats this guy must be better than Brady, McNabb, Brees, Palmer, River, etc...

Romo to Woodson is a bad comparison. Romo has played what, 3 games? Woodson has played well throughout the entire season.

But I am a UK fan and really dont like UL at all, but be realistic people, Brohm right now is still the better QB than Woodson. Now if Woodson keeps improving all the time like he did this year, then yeah he could one day be better than Brohm but he is still not better than him yet...
