January 10, 20197 yr Bailing on Ian Book already? If Tate transfers he has to sit a year anyways. So no bailing on him, thinking what's to come after him.
January 11, 20197 yr Tate originally committed to Texas A&M in high school before decommitting and going to OSU, correct?
January 11, 20197 yr Author Tate originally committed to Texas A&M in high school before decommitting and going to OSU, correct? Was committed to Washington as well before A&M.
January 11, 20197 yr Reading this thread I don't understand anyone who down plays Fromm? Also Martell has to leave OSU after all his quotes. OSU doesn't want that locker room drama.

January 11, 20197 yr That is one confident kid in the interview. For him to open up the transfer portal tells me maybe he is hearing something behind the scenes. What did OSU say to Fields to get him to come there?
January 11, 20197 yr Tate Martell doesn't 'care' to know Justin Fields Most of that doesn't bother me. The only comment that would be concerning (and I'm not even sure that one is anything to get worked up over) is the one about him not caring about knowing Fields. The rest of it just sounds like a confident kid.
January 11, 20197 yr Tate Martell doesn't 'care' to know Justin Fields Kelly Bryant didn’t care to know Trevor Lawrence. College football is an unforgiving business.
January 11, 20197 yr Kelly Bryant didn’t care to know Trevor Lawrence. College football is an unforgiving business. You just made my point they won't coexist.
January 11, 20197 yr Gotta imagine this means Martell is gonna leave, right? Especially if Fields get the waiver to play right away. I don’t think it’s a guarantee Tate transfers this year if he loses the starting job. He could stay on for the season and graduate in 3 years and have 2 years of eligibility left and can play immediately wherever he goes as a head transfer. Either way he wouldn’t be playing in 2019 and in this case he is 1 play away from being the starter. I think that’s the more likely scenario because I don’t see how transferring immediately benefits him in anyway. ....:idunno:
January 11, 20197 yr Add me to the list of Fromm fans. I expect Fromm to be a top 10 pick in 2020 and I don't think Fields was good enough this year to beat Fromm out of the job.
January 11, 20197 yr ....:idunno: It made sense for him to stay and be a grad transfer next year. Now he has to sit out. OSU ticked him off, bottom line.
