Imo and apparently in the Georgia's coaches opinions, he isnt better than Fromm though. If the Georgia coaches thought he was better, but was to afraid to make a change as GrantNKY suggest. Then they would have went out of their way to promise him the starting gig next year, once they knew he was trying to transfer. Fields is very good. I'm just saying some of you all are down playing how good Fromm is. We aren’t downplaying Fromm. We’re just curious what you see in him. Georgia definitely wanted to keep him. But Smart wasn’t going to definitively give him the starting. Then he risks losing Fromm which is the guy he trusts. Nobody is saying Fromm is a bad QB. We just don’t see anything that really excites us. I haven’t watched a Georgia game and left saying Fromm is the reason they won that game.

You said he is like AJ Mccarrom and JA said he is Andy Murray. Both qbs who were drafted in the 5th round. Yet while most mock drafts show him as probably not only being a 1st rounder, but probably a top 5 pick. Yet you all compare him to 5th rounders. So yeah you all are down playing him, hence the only reason why I replied lol.

Saying Fromm is listed as one of the best NFL prospects for 2020 doesn't say anything about Fields. Saying Fromm was a better QB choice for Georgia this year doesn't mean Fields isn't any good. My guess is there isn't one person in this thread praising Fromm who believes Fields is not a potential NFL prospect. Fields is obviously very talented and he may turn out to be a better NFL QB than Fromm. But he isn't right now.
