His timing, accuracy, the zip on the ball out of his hands, strong arm. He can make all the throws that qbs need to make in the NFL. Then his leadership ability to go with it. Plus just going to continue to get better.

Then his leadership ability to go with it. Plus just going to continue to get better. From a physical tools perspective I’m not sure there is anything that I would give Fromm the edge over Tua on. Leadership ability is tough to gauge unless you’re in the locker room. Unless you have a guy like Tebow who is extremely outward in his leadership, I’m not sure how we can evaluate that. Nothing Fromm does really excites me. I will say that he did play very well against Alabama in the SEC championship, but I’m still not sold on him as someone that should be worthy of top 5 pick. I honestly don’t even see him a first rounder. I really think he compares pretty favorably to McCarron but with a slightly stronger arm.

January 10, 20197 yr Author Tate Martell is officially in the transfer portal. It doesn’t mean he will transfer, but it allows other teams to contact him. I would imagine he will wait for a formal decision on if Fields is eligible immediately, but wants to have a plan in place in case he does. One thing is for sure, Ohio State needs to pick up another transfer QB now.
