With all the talk of speed, speed, and more speed at Male.... I wonder how Trinity managed to win state in Track last year? I know several of this year's Football Rocks were on that team. How about Male?

I checked the results from last year and found that Nathan and Alex Dutton, and Agyei Williams ran in the state meet for Trinity. Trinity did well in the high jump and distance running and Steve Orndorf (graduated) in the sprints and A Williams in the hurdles. I found the following names for Male that were not seniors and ran sprints or hurdles or long jump.

Lewis Dodson, Doug Beaumont, Michael Hayes, Bryant Stewart, Juan Garrett, Justin Green, Jeremy Fugate, and Jeremy Harris. I don't have a Male football roster available but I know that Beaumont plays and Justin is sitting out due to injury. Can someone from H identify if the others play football?

Of the players you listed, Dodson, Beaumont, Hayes, Garrett, Fugate play football at either DE, DB, or WR.

 

Jeremy Webb also plays football (DE) and ran track last year.

I just have a feeling the Rocks will find a way to win this one.

And Josh Williams and Nik Brazley weren't listed on the track roster, but I'm pretty sure they're pretty fast. :sssh:

Well I guess its true that Male has unlimited speed. The Rocks are doomed. I just hope none of our boys get hurt Friday. Great season fellas, there is always next year.

I don't know exactly. I would guess about 6-8.

 

Anybody for the Rocks go 2 ways? I know Beatty hasn't been shy about playing his best kids both ways in the past. Does Agyei Williams only play on defense?

Just because I choose to have some class and not flip out because people have picked Male over Trinity. I hope T wins! But I have seen both teams play and I feel that Male has a good shot of winning if they play a perfect game. I wish both teams the best of luck and will just have to wait and see who prevails on friday.

I hope the fans are loud and numerous, the field is dry and fast, and the refs have their eyes open and the players decide the game- may the best team win.It should be fun to watch.

Williams only plays defense. Six or eight, no wonder Male is tired in the second half. I bet this Friday, Male has those high energy drinks in the locker room. Heck, the refs may need those drinks since they'll be running up and down the field chasing Male's track/football team.
