Oldercoach
Lex-Herald has afternoon release that Wandale Robinson flips his committment to Nebraska. Thanks Ky coaches, but felt pressures to stay at home while Nebraska was always his favorite choice throughout the recruiting process.

The Double Deuce
If I'm an offensive player, and I watch / review the last few years of Scott Frost's offenses, and then do the same with Mark Stoops' offenses, this would have been one of the all-time no-brainers. Chet Manley
Anybody else got the vibe that he might have committed to Kentucky to win Mr. Football, and then flipped to the school he wanted to go to all along?

GrantNKY
Anybody else got the vibe that he might have committed to Kentucky to win Mr. Football, and then flipped to the school he wanted to go to all along? Yes because only players who are committed to UK have won Mr. Kentucky Football....

Chet Manley
Serious question. Do you honestly believe that to be true? I certainly believe it to be a possibility. Not saying that's the reason he won the award.

nkufan23
I'm glad for the kid. Kentucky was always chasing Nebraska. As a huge UK Football fan and season ticket holder this move doesn't bother me. I never expected to get him anyways and now that all is said and done it makes me happy to know that Robinson is going to the place that makes him happy. Kentucky recruits and develops, they have an awesome class coming in. They also have many play-makers returning, and many of whom red-shirted that can be special players. Robinson is a game changer but Kentucky's outlook for the next several years hasn't changed because of this one decision.

Chet Manley
So who would have won had he chosen Nebraska from the jump? Again, I'm not saying that he didn't deserve the award regardless, but do you truly believe that a commitment to one of the in-state schools does not help your chances for the award? I mean it's not voted on by people who live in a vacuum and just watch the tape all day, it's voted on by reporters from this state. I don't see how this theory is so far-fetched. The theory isn’t far fetched. Applying it this season is. He was clearly Mr. Football this season. I can’t recall a bigger slam dunk to win it in recent years. And this year’s first Mr. Football award was voted on by the coaches. He won the KFCA Mr. Football award. This was their first year ever having the award. The AP Mr. Football hasn’t been announced yet. It is the one voted on by the reporters.
