Highlands 57 Covington Catholic 51

Wow. I don't know a lot about Highlands, but this is quite a score.

Looking forward to seeing Highlands come to Buckner Saturday for the Ronald McDonald House Classic. Highlands vs. Oldham County will be broadcast on The Pegasus Sports Network - PSN. I'm looking forward to calling this one!

CM

I might have to come check that one out.

Ryan Leigh for HHS hit some HUGE 3's. Also RELLY impressed with Sam Vincent. The kid is really poised and clutch. To think he is only a sophomore, WOW!

Yes Ryan and Sammy are both very Important pieces to Listerman's puzzle.

Wow this is Shocking. How in the world does a Loaded CovCath team let a bunch of Common City Boys beat them? Coaching?

Was Joe Federick at the game? Certainly his GPS is still working. Maybe he got caught in traffic over in Cincinnati!

I'm guessing Gronks twin didn't play right? What a tough hangover for the CCH program from Sunday. Two streaks broken. Both by Publics.

Who played well for both teams? How crazy were the Crazies?

Hilarious. Congratulations on the win.

Wondering if someone, maybe @Colonels_Wear_Blue can help me with the trouble I'm having listening to CovCath game archives.

-I go the Colonel Athletic Network at CovCath.org

-I find the Mixlr page.

-I find the list of archives where presently the Highlands game is the most current.

-I push play and see that the time is changing.

-I hear nothing.

I've clicked on other archived games too, but still I hear nothing.

I have my volume set at max considering their low volume level when I have in the past listened live, but all I get is dead silence.

I suppose that I could be overlooking something very simple, but I just can't figure what that might be. :idunno:

Anyone else having this issue, or is anyone hearing their archives no problem?

Ben Sissen is an Animal! He’s worth the Price of Admission.....

Is it Sisson or Sissen? I have seen both.

I am listening to the game here: Colonel Athletic Network | Showreel | Mixlr

Thanks.

I followed your link and it leads me to the same archives page that I was able to find. I click on play and see the time changing, but I still hear nothing. I suppose it's something small that I am overlooking, but presently it's driving me nuts as to what it is. :idunno:

Interesting. The two top teams in the 9th lose in the same week to teams they most likely shouldn't have lost to, especially CCH. Both up big early and lose it at the end.

Why should they not have lost? Just because ranked higher does not guarantee a win. On any given night a lower ranked team can beat a higher ranked team.

My first time catching the Birds this year and the thing that impressed me the most was how hard the kids play on both ends of the floor.

Also want to give a shout out to the new principal and athletic director who have made a concerted effort to get the student body involved whether it be an athletic event or a band competition. That gym was "electric" last night and the team responded to the energy.

My comments have NOTHING to do with rankings. When you are up nearly 20 points you "shouldn't" lose a game. Congrats to Highlands on a great comeback as well as Dunbar coming back from 14 down against Cooper.

But it was early in the game and Highlands was getting good looks, but not knocking down shots. Both teams will improve going forward. A lot of the Highlands kids still have their football legs as evidenced by many missed shots and free throws.

Good luck to both teams going forward.
