October 21, 20187 yr I am surprised at the result, figured that it would be close and that Ohio State would win. I caught a very little when it first started, but didn’t watch much. On another note, Brohm got himself more attention as a coach. I’d love to see him at Louisville, but don’t see it happening anytime soon. Between what’s owed to Petrino and other potential prospects depending on how the rest of Purdue’s season goes may be too much.

This hurts the B1G on its chances of the playoff. As much as Buckeye fans likely don’t want to, they have to be rooting for Michigan to win the rest of the way until they play each other.

October 21, 20187 yr This was a super fun game to watch. There is no doubt that Moore is a difference maker. He had 12 receptions for 170 yards and 2 TDs. Purdue’s second leading pass catcher last night had 5 catches for 12 yards.

Well.... it’s either OSU greatly misevaluated on all of the 4 and 5 star players, or it’s not being used correctly.
October 21, 20187 yr I never post directly after an OSU loss. I always wait until the morning after. I just had a gut feeling this game was coming. All of the fears I had for this game were realized. Can’t run the ball and can’t get stops when we need to. The thing that surprised me the most, but I should have seen coming as well, were the penalties. Two penalties on the first drive. Then the stupid running into the kicker and roughing the kicker calls where we shouldn’t have even sent people at the kicker anyways. That roughing call completely changed the game. At that point I was starting to feel like Ohio State was about to make a run and that just killed any chance of it happening. Unlike Iowa last year, I expected this loss to happen and like I said in the prediction thread, this game scared me more than any game of the year. Haskins looked pretty damn good per usual until he got in the red zone. He missed one throw to McLaurin in the end zone in the first half where he just needed to put air under it and throw it to the back corner of the end zone and it’s an easy TD. Anyways when you can’t run the ball, it’s hard to score in the red zone and that’s the biggest thing we need to figure out. There have been some very suspect assistant coach hirings on defense to replace some coaches who took great opportunities elsewhere and none of them are working out. Bill Davis you are horrible. Taver Johnson has these DBs so confused. Simplify the game plan on defense and let your athletes play. This was the game that scared me the most on the schedule coming into this game and I still feel this way. I still really like this team but we need to get back to playing Ohio State football. We’re going to get two O lineman back after the bye that could be able to help us one way or another with Brandon Bowen and Brady Taylor. Just have to run the ball. Can’t rely on Haskins completing passes on 3rd and long all night like he did in west Lafeyette. I don’t think we had but 1 or 2 3rd and short all night. Somethings got to give. Losing before a bye week is the best time to lose. Get back to work and all of our business is still in front of us. Go Bucks.
