Amazon

Anyone else use this for their shopping? I've used it more and more over the past 2 years with the Prime membership and love it.

Haven't really had any problems with any of the vendors on there...and then had 2 in the past week. I ordered a bug visor for my new vehicle, and they sent the wrong model. Company not only made it right by sending me the correct one....but they said to keep the other one! Lady said I could throw it away, sell it on Ebay or Craigslist, or give it away. She just said it cost too much for the return shipping that they don't do it.

Other problem was just a blatant lie about a hatch strut for my wife's vehicle. While it technically may "fit"...there is absolutely no way that part is for that vehicle. First time I've been really burned by an item description. Sent it back and ordered some other ones (from a different vendor).

But overall, I'd have to say I'm at 99% satisfaction. And I really like the Amazon Smile feature, where they take a percentage of your order (I think it's .5%) and donate to the charitable organization of your choice. (I chose the Mike Rowe WORKS Foundation). Anyone else participate in this?

I like Amazon Prime.

So far it has been perfect for me.

I bet my wife receives a box four days a week. I met the poor USPS lady halfway, I told her my wife was going to wear her out. I told her she is killing retail stores.

My wife uses the heck out of it. She can get a lot of orders the next day. I would strongly endorse it.

I shop almost daily on Amazon. Pretty much anything I need outside of food, I buy on Amazon. Just went through a big flurry of school shopping for my youngest who is heading off to college this weekend. I have had a few issues, but Amazon always makes it right, and takes care of it quickly with no questions ask. Even when they hiked the price up to $119/year for Prime, it's still worth it to me.

Amazon is reportedly negotiating with Mark Cuban and a partner to buy their movie theaters.

I always check their prices before shopping elsewhere. The wife uses it all the time. Be careful when they tell you to keep the item instead of returning. I got in an argument with them in the spring on a pitching rubber. I received 2 without the spikes. Both times they told me to keep and they’d send new. The 2nd one they ended up charging me for as they said I never returned it. I ended up just dropping the argument as it was only $15, but I had no proof of our telephone conversation where they told me to just keep it.

I use Prime quite a bit for shopping. Also a fan of Prime Music and Prime Video, I've been binging on The Wire the past week and a half.

Amazon would be buying the theaters?

You know, that was in the back of my mind too, when she said to keep it.

Basically if I don't need it immediately or it's not groceries, I buy it from Amazon. I just can't see a more efficient way to shop.

Just bought a new camera bundle from Amazon. We use it daily.

They now have Prime Now, where you can get free delivery on food, beer, and other items in a 2 hour window, if you do 1 hour it might be like $5 or $10. I use this all the time, we were at a trip in Virginia Beach and my friend got a hole in his air mattress, had one delivered to him in 2 hours.
