I had one for years but never grew it out all Duck Dynasty style.

 

I've had at least a goatee for the last 25 years except for a few rare occasions where I shaved it and my mustache off...which my wife hates.

I wore a full beard for the best part of 30 years. Sometimes it got kind of long. However, I shaved all but the mustache off in 2007 when I started using a cpap with a full face mask.

My facial hair is at the longest it has ever been - which is not long - maybe an inch. Told the engineers that I'd measure the amount of time that it would take for them to make up their minds on how they want to design a job by my facial hair length. Needless to say - i now look like a red headed rat

I had mine trimmed off a couple months back, and probably went at least 6 months with very little trimming. It's pretty well manicured now, but before that I probably went 18 months with little to no trimming until the wife said something.

When you truly trim it off it sucks, but I'm used to where I'm at now with a small manageable beard. BTW I did use oil, but like others it felt greasy.

I never used oil. I can't stand being greasy. Tried it once and nearly went insane before I could get it out.

I've grown some mountain man beards in my day. Usually keep it pretty well trimmed anymore.

I've kept the scruff look since January of 2017. I never let it get more than 1/4 or so, and keep it shaped. I usually trim it back using a 0 clipper guide about every 10 days or so. I did recently shave it back in mid February, I've grown to like the scruff look, immediately let it grow back. I'm not a fan of big or long beards, as it's just too much maintenance. My wife wasn't a fan initially, but I think she's now on board with the look. I love how easy this is to take care of, and don't see me going back to clean shaven anytime soon.

I shave my beard every day. Menopause is not attractive!

Went about 2 months a couple of year ago. Picked up a real crappy looking porn mustache. Little gruff on the chin and nowhere else on the face.

Back to shaving every day.

I’ve let mine grow at one point from February thru the end of December then decided to axe it off. I usually average 4-5 months in between shaved. However, I’m never barefaced. I trim the length down to a 2 guard and start the growth all over.

I'm around 15 months right now. I've let the barber trim it twice. I use the products Kentucky Beard Butter makes.

1 month. I don’t see how people get by with the itching. It kills me.
