I believe previous was 1994, when MC Napier beat Highlands 88-56. That 88 remains the most points given up by a defense in a championship game tho

Those Mercer seniors went 10-1 in state tourney play over the past 3 years! Outstanding accomplishment! Congrats to Mercy on a good run to finish as runner up.

Congrats to Mercer Co. and Coach Souder for a great run. Plus, I understand that this strictly a "homegrown" group of young ladies, to boot. Hats off to all.
