October 21, 20187 yr Off the Hook Beach Bistro, Madeira Beach Fl. I finally remembered the name of that place. Unbelievable Grouper Samich! Have not confirmed personally, and have no idea why they would. But I just read on Yelp that they closed.

October 22, 20187 yr About 15 years ago, we went to a place in Newport. They had a sandwich called the Whaler. It was fantastic. I've never been back and have completely forgotten the name of the place. They weren't too far off of Monmouth.
October 25, 20187 yr Author I finally found my favorite fish sandwich today. At the Summit at Fritz Farms shopping mall in Lexington. Smithtown restaurant in the Barn has the best fish sandwich and hand-cut fries. It is a 4oz batter-dipped cod with lettuce, tomato, onion and choice of sauce. I chose mayo. It was very crunchy on the outside, not greasy, and very tender on the inside, The fries could feed 3 people they served so many. They were awesome too. I will be back.
