Quickest Guys You Have Ever Played Against???

Featured Replies

I never played against him but the quickest player I have ever seen play in recent memory would have to be Lartavious Banks of Hopkinsville who graduated in 2003. He was one of the better players in the state that season but I don't think he ever played a game after High School.

Another nod for Dickey Beal.

I'll back you up on this one.

1. Bammer Nolte - Ashland YMCA:scared:

2. Bluffalo Bill Hornbuckle - Ashland YMCA:rolleyes:

3. Robbie Vanhoose (right side only) - Ashland YMCA:thumb:

It's hard for me to imagine anyone much quicker than JuJuan Spillman from PRP...

Dicky Beal was arguably the quickest player ever from the 9th region.

I don't know if anyone remembers the Britt twins from Warren East.

Jajuan Spillman (sp?) from Pleasure Ridge Park.

He is currently playing football at Uof L.

Lightning Quck! :flame:

I saw him play in the Sweet Sixteen a couple of years ago and thought the same thing.

Good selection. JuJuan had a most unusual combination of quickness and speed on the basketball floor.

He was absolutely lightning when he had the ball, too. Almost too fast for his own good, as he seemed to have a difficult time controlling the ball at times.

Spillman is no doubt the quickest in the last 5 years.

Jujuan Spillman(PRP) in 2005.

At the risk of "band wagon-ing" (new word) Dicky Beal was absolutely the quickest kid I ever tried to guard...

Dirk Minnifield always said as quick as Dicky Beal was, Dwight "The Blurr" Anderson's quickness made Dicky appear average.

I stole the ball from Dicky at Seaton Center while he was being defended by another person. Stole it from behind on a dead run. Didn't think there was anybody but me on the whole side of the court. As I put the ball up for the layup, with stars in my eyes, two hands come from behind me and smack the ball back to the foul line for a clean block. THE ONLOOKERS ROARED their approval. The son of a gun had run me down. Humiliation is the only word. I saw him years later and of course, he did NOT remember it.

I don't know how fast the "blur" was, but Dicky "the eel" Beal sure ran me down and I had a head start.
