Had royal feast from Sir Pizza. It was good

Worked in yard and garden all day and didn't feel like cooking.

I'm in the cinci area this weekend, staying in Florence until Sunday. Anyone have some recommendations for me? We're doing Drake's tonight because it's nearby and gets good reviews. But I'll be here until Sunday afternoon/early evening so I'm open to suggestions. Nothing crazy expensive because I'll be buying for 5 of us.

I had some Harmon's tonight (not sure if I mentioned when I had it previously). It's really good. Located by Wal-Mart off 3L in Ft Wright. Someone said it is owned by the former pitcher at CovCath Rob Harmon.

Drakes was a good choice. Try BJ’s too by the mall. Lots of menu choices there.

Drake's was solid. Thanks for the info on BJ's we may grab some lunch there today since we will be at the Griffin Elite sports complex off and on throughout the day. Any suggestions for a good steak or ribs? Or somewhere that does a good job at both. It doesn't have to be in the Florence/Erlanger area.

It might be a little over your budget, but not crazy expensive - Greyhound Tavern in Ft. Mitchell. Northern Kentucky Southern Style Dining, Greyhound Tavern

Best onion rings ever. Awesome fried chicken. A "comfort food" place. Everything is excellent including the house salad that comes with a meal. You can make it affordable if you choose the right things in budget off the menu. It is a nicer sit down restaurant but nothing fancy. It will be crowded so I suggest reservations if eating during dinner time. They also have a great Sunday brunch but that is probably over your budget.

A lot of N. Ky. folks like Barleycorn's, but it is just ok for me.

Hofbrauhaus in Newport is a unique place. German food.

We almost went to Hofrauhaus last night, I've eaten there before and really like it. We didn't get settled into our room until around 8pm and they had about an hour wait so we opted to eat a little closer to the hotel.

I had never heard of the Greyhound Tavern but I have a feeling we will be heading there after checkout Sunday, it's actually well within the budget after checking out the link you provided.

Thanks for the info!

I would have said Knotty Pine, but since you're buying for 5....

I was thinking Walt’s or Runy’s for steak, but thought of the budget.

Grandview tavern or Beahl street could be an option.

Do you mean Ruby's? Or is there a steakhouse I've missed?

Wait!! You have a Mexican? And they cook? And you lend them out? Is it one Mexican or the entire family? Do they also put up dry wall?
