Totally disagree. They could not stop those backs in OT.

How many points did those great backs score in the 2nd half??

They outscored them 16-0 on offense in the second half, several key stops--Give the kids a chance to win. Beyond stupid given the circumstances. Guess "close" is good enough for some of you??

Northwestern’s coach stopped them twice, not the UK Defense.

Only way they stopped them in regulation was when the Northwestern coach kept ignoring his stud back on 4th down attempts.

Their coach held them out on that stupid fourth down call.

Kid grows a pair of hands on him and Cats win by one.

I really didnt know what to expect from UK today. Northwestern owned the LOS for the bulk of this game. They ran for 300 to 400 yards. UK ran for about 60. Johnson is getting hammered on most throws, but Cats bend and not break defense in 2nd half, some bonehead decisions by Northwestern, and resolve by the Cats put them a 2 pointer away from victory. I enjoyed the game and look forward to next season. GO CATS

All that says go for two.

Absolutely go for 2. Northwestern had the better team IMO

Yep. If we look at which coach made bonehead decisions, Fitzgerald clearly goofed up more.

He did give them a chance to win. I am not a huge fan, I like them, but I ilke others just as well.

I was hoping Bowden would've been involved on the 2-point attempt.

That officiating crew has no business calling college games. That also goes for the replay official that called the NW player for targeting.

The kids did have a shot to win. 3 yards away from a win to be exact. Instead of both offense and defense needing to make plays in ot. When all they needed was one more play to win.

That was with a whole field to gain. Not just 25 which it would have been in ot.

Wow--Even easier to defend a one dimensional offense in shorter yardage?? Bottom line is they lost and everyone's arguing "well their coach is dumber than ours"??

I’m not. Their team was better.
